The Subtle Massively Leveraged Secret for Goal Acceleration

You Are Only As Fast As Your Slowest Dog -
The Subtle Massively Leveraged Secret to Goal Acceleration

It is minus 20 degrees, the snow is biting at your face , you are on the 900 miles Iditarod Dog Sled race, and suddenly start slowing down. Is it the snow melt? Are your blades off balance? Does one of the dogs need a rest, or does one of the dogs need swapped out? Or it it something else you haven’t even thought of?

At some point in the goal setting journey, we become increasingly aware of the many inputs that drive overall success. It’s most explicit for athletes - who can pretty easily count reps, calories, sleep, speed, muscle mass, etc. -

but a goal tracking and systems mindset is also the hidden mighty underpinning of all ambitious projects, from building a house to building a Starship and everything in between.

The true secret for massive goal acceleration is a subtle yet unbelievably leveraged three step process:

1). Diligently and carefully scan your progress, and identify the one point where you are most massively sub-optimized and/or running slow compared to the rest of your system.

2). Make it your #1 “stop the presses” priority to fix/update/speed up that one single part of the system.

3). Continuously repeat steps 1 and 2, tracking down and improving the next weakest link.

Yes - it is that easy…….. and that difficult!
