Of course a ROCKET Goals movie list wouldn’t be complete without The Martian, where Mark Watney’s own ROCKET Goals led to an extended detour on the surface of Mars. Faced with the potential of starving to death all alone and millions of miles from home, Watney’s heroic quest to stay alive is a masterclass in creative problem solving, exponential effort, teamwork, and goal-setting focus.

We finish up our list with A Million Miles Away, the story of Space Shuttle astronaut Jose Hernandez. We have an entire post about this incredible film. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a mid-winter must watch.
